If you didn’t know it, today is 9-11 or Patriot Day…a day to think back and honor those who died in the terrorist attacks in Pennsylvania, the Pentagon and of course the World Trade Center in NYC.

I am disappointed in my country. Why? Yesterday, the U.S. Senate maneuvered itself into a position that will allow Obama’s treaty with Iran to go forward unopposed by the legislature that represents the citizens of the United States even though a majority of the citizens are against it.

Disappointment also greeted me on this solemn day when I went outside to raise my American flag in honor of those who died in the attack and those who died trying to save as many lives as possible. In a neighborhood of 12 residential homes, I was just the second one to raise my flag. What an awfully unfulfilled feeling it left me. Of the houses on my block, I know there are nine U.S. Military Veterans living in those homes. It seems to me, even those Veterans have forgotten why they served; I haven’t!

Over the past few days, the headlines are screaming that BO has secured the needed Senate votes that will insure passage of his Iran deal. This is interesting since “Overall, 52% (of Americans polled) say Congress should reject the deal. This is just one more example of Washington politicians voting with their asses and not representing their constituents.

Has our democracy run aground? You bet it has. The biggest problem facing the American people now, is how much more damage to our system of government will occur before a new POTUS will be sworn in and starts to reverse the carnage of the last two presidential terms. I sure hope we can make it that far.

Take a good look at what is happening in the U.S. Congress. Those pledging their support of the Iran deal are 41 Democrats. One Senator is yet undecided and those who say they will vote against it are 58 Senators who are all Republicans and includes four Democrats. But that ain’t enough to override a Presidential Veto; that action will take 60 votes. Take a look for yourself (http://www.stopthebadirandeal.com/scorecard/).

OK…maybe I was wrong being against Trump signing the Republican loyalty agreement. I don’t know any Repub, at least out here in Wackyland (Kaleephorneeah), that I would trust further than I could throw a house! They all seem to be phony politicians after just as much corrupt money as they can put their grubby little hands on.
I sincerely hope Trump got it right with Priebus and the RNC and I hope they understood what it will mean if they cross him.
With all my might, I urge every Conservative to get out there and register to vote and then vote for Trump!
Hillary is on the ropes and the Dems appear to be scared to death that if she fails, they will have no one else to push up to the level of POTUS…and for cripes sake…if anyone really believes the Bernie Sanders is presidential material…God help you brother! Sanders is an admitted Socialist…look it up…believe it…and then run like hell away from him!!!

Mr. Trump: Don’t sign any deal with the Republicans!!! How can there be any respect at all for a party by any name, after they succumbed (again) to Obama on the Iran Treaty. You need to be President of this country in the worst way, but don’t knuckle under to pressure from these hucksters. Continue to be your own honest man and you will be the next POTUS!

What is with you and the other parrots on your show? Granted, Trump should rephrase some things he has said, but he’s much more right than he is wrong and you cannot see that. Don’t agree with me? Look at the polls!

A while back, I was almost done with you when you backed Common Core (also known as bigger and bigger government), now I’m done with you and your foolish ranting for sure. Hey Hillary! Out there buying votes again? Where the hell is all this money ($350 Billion) coming from??? Yeah…we know…higher taxes. This is the first time in a very, very long time that I have heard something that has energized me to the max! Donald Trump has officially announced he will run for POTUS in 2016. Hey is there anybody at home in our government today? What a clusterf–k last night in Baltimore! And today does not look to be much better. Does it bother anyone else to see the police in full retreat? Not that I’m “all in” for the cops, but me thinks a choice has to be made here…allow the gangs and anarchists to have free reign or protect us citizens. Probably should pause here and get a clue from the social situations in other countries particularly those in the Middle East and of course Mexico. Then make your choice.

Right off the top Chris…you are a huge disappointment. I tuned in to your Sunday morning program on FOX News yesterday (4-26-2015) to learn something more about “Uraniumgate” (my word) from your interviews with Peter Schweizer and Lanny Davis.

Well Chris, you have successfully destroyed any credibility you might have gained over the years and most of the respect from me as a journalist. You hosted these interviews as though you still had a buzz on from the correspondent’s dinner the night before.

First, you never asked Schweizer where his proof was. You only touched on it briefly when you mentioned that the NY Times said even they didn’t have proof of the allegations…just lots of circumstantial items that might fall into the “gray area”. It was interesting to me that for the most part, you let Schweizer off the hook on substantiating the charges against the Clinton’s in his book. For the most part, it was just another book promotion “infomercial”; what a disappointment both of you were and are.

Then the icing on the cake came a few minutes later with your “interview” with Lanny Davis. This guy is and always has been a liar and he successfully did not answer your questions and stepped around anything that even appeared to be in the gray area for the Clinton’s. While we waited on the edges of our chairs, for you to pounce on him, you just looked down and let him slip off the hook. Mostly you explained because “we’ve been friends for a long time.” What a absolute load of crap Chris. You just proved to me and probably many across the Nation that you really are nothing more than just another incredibly inept Sunday Talking Head. It wouldn’t surprise me if you and Lanny went out after the show and had a couple of “pops” at the local watering hole; what an utter disappointment!

My suggestion: Continue to write more “Sunday Soups” books with your wife…the recipes are delicious, but your journalism skills lack any taste at all.
