The self-described “socially conservative but economic liberal” (how that occurs I’m not sure) Michael McManus, really moved out of his realm of expertise (Marriage Savers) today when he made a long comment entitled “Israel is using excessive force” under a Faith & Ethics banner. He regurgitates the talking points from Hamas and “Palestine”…whatever that is. My response to the paid columnist Mr. McManus is two-fold…(1) This is a war and it has been for a long time. What don’t you understand about that? When a country is attacked, they attack back. Another phrase for “using too much force” would be winning the war! (2) Stay in your realm for expertise which you say is “Marriage”. Save your brutality statements for WWII’s Japan and Germany…that’s excessive force!

I thought I understood the judicial system…but once again…the nutballs in Kallephorneeah have proved me wrong. I believed our elected state prosecutor’s job was to prosecute the criminals. Not so says CA’s AG Kamala Harris…while admitting it is a federal problem, she has begun to help secure defense attorneys for the “57,000” minor young immigrants who have come ILLEGALLY across the U.S. border recently. And of some note…these youngsters are accompanied by “tens of thousands” of family members. What about them Kami…will they get CA representation as well? Wonder how many votes this will buy for you?

The last word on Israel…and it’s the truth! “If the Palestinians…otherwise known as Hamas were to lay down their weapons, there would be no war. If the Israelis laid down their weapons, there would be no Israel”! And you can take that one to the bank…pun intended!

Please! Say it ain’t so! Rumor has it that BO has purchased a “compound” in Rancho Mirage’s Thunderbird Heights! If true, the final nail has been hammered into Kaleephorneeha’s dignity! I’m gett’n out…this state has become Loony Liberalville! Next, he’ll be running for Governator! Anyone got any property in Nevada?…Reid would be easier to take than BO…although only slightly!

Just caught this quote from BO “This should snap everybody’s heads to attention,” Obama said. Referring to the Malaysian Airliner that was shot down yesterday. My suggestion Mister POTUS is that YOU should snap your head around and start leading this country and not spending your “presidential” time time doing fund raising for your political party, shooting pool or drinking beer! Your legacy will be truly “unbelievable”!

First, I will make full disclosure here. I did not vote for BO in either of the last two presidential elections. That was not because of any “racial animus” as AG Holder called it recently, but because I believed the opposing candidate was a better choice. However, my thoughts once BO was elected were…what a great opportunity for the first mixed race president to LEAD the greatest country in the world to more great achievements…including peace. The great “Leader” I thought would emerge, has not surfaced in nearly six tumultuous years. If that is being a racist, then I am. But despite that, I know I am “animusly” disappointed.

Must give credit where it’s due. My local left leaning rag, got it right for once stating in their editorial that “there are two sides to everything.” They were referring to the “spin” the BO administration gave to the recently released June jobs report…“recovery accelerating…strong hiring…US adds 288K jobs”. The editorial pointed out that the numbers that were not part of any headlines were that part time jobs jumped to 27 million in June and that “American shed more than half a million full time jobs while creating 800,000 part-time jobs and a big part of the reason that the unemployment rate continues to drop is because more people just quit looking for work.” I also heard that if one is told a lie three times, most will accept it as the truth…do you think BO knows this too?

Read somewhere in the last 48-hours that the US will end up the year with 3.4 percent growth. My prediction…(and I’m no Milton Friedman): the US economy will continue to wane and finish the year at something around half that…probably somewhere in the area of 1.3%, but definitely under two percent! And you can take this to the bank…BO will be very surprised and blame it all on the Republicans!

This is ridiculous, but here it is! It has been reported that a group of “ambulance-chasers” is suing the US government saying that the illegal immigrant “children” do not have legal representation and that the US Constitution guarantees it! Despite a federal law to the exact contrary. Leave it to these shysters to try and drum up business wherever they can…maybe not enough ambulances to chase up there in the Emerald City area. BO has already earmarked $2M for lawyers to work on cases of these illegals! Every time a foreigner touches US soil, some seem to believe they are “guaranteed” all Constitutional rights and guarantees…that’s BS! Whatever happened to legal citizen rights? Guess that line is pretty well blurred now.

Here is the latest news on the immigration front:

“Gil Kerlikowske, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection commissioner, said that the number of children picked up since October now stands at 57,000, up from 52,000 in mid-June, and more than double what it was at the same time last year.”

As I see it…someone isn’t doing their job! My response is obvious and simple…just stop them! And if there are places where that is not happening, use some of that $3.5B the POTUS has asked congress to appropriate and hire armed construction workers to build a wall or “resistance area” that cannot be penetrated. What is so damned difficult about that. The current immigration laws don’t need to be changed, amended or eliminated…they need to be upheld!

When you think…he just can’t do any worse…HE does! That’d be President Fund Raiser. The press says he’ll be in Texas to raise money for the DNC on Wednesday and Thursday. Gov. Rick Perry has invited the POTUS to visit the Texas border with Mexico, but BO says…his schedule won’t permit it! WTF! This guy is so unattached and inattentive to the nation’s problems, both foreign and domestic, he can’t commit to taking a few hours to see this huge illegal immigration problem. He does find time to send congrats to the losing U.S. Socker team. I’ll Bet he does find time for a few rounds of golf while he’s in Austin!
