Dear Mister Trump:

This letter is about corporate taxes and is a suggestion about how you can help yourself win the Presidency of the United States and help MAKE THIS COUNTRY GREAT AGAIN.

As I’m sure you are very aware, there are many corporations, maybe including some you own, that are sitting on enormous profits from overseas successes. One company that comes to mind that is holding billions of profit dollars in Ireland, is Apple Computer . Their world wide success is a testimonial to the entrepreneurship of companies located in the U.S.A.

To date, the Federal Government has not relented on it’s insistence that these profit dollars must be repatriated at the highest corporate tax rate there is at 39.1 percent. I know I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know very well. But this tax rate is the third highest in the world! The world average for corporation profit tax is 22.6 percent. And I’ll bet you know exactly where I’m going with this.

At some point during your campaign, if you were to announce that you would back a the change to lower the foreign corporate rate as well as personal profit tax rate to something around 20 percent, I’ll just bet you would gain many votes that will propel you into the White House on January 20, 2017. Not only would you gain popularity, but you would fill the U.S. Treasury with the money that could be spent in many ways to MAKE THIS COUNTRY GREAT AGAIN.
